I use these on my vehicles, They have a serration on the back to stop them coming undone and they are 15mm spanner size so it's easier to tighten the one at the back which is a pain in the bum... http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product...ANGED-M10.html
Thanks guys I was wary of getting any old nut as it's on the hot side of the turbo. Now all I have to do is learn how to perform contortion to get the one on underneath
I have got it down to a fine art now with a 4" long stubby spanner and a pry bar just to get it started then you can control the spanner with your finger tips to get it off the rest of the way.
The first time you take it off its hard work once they have been off at least in the last 3 years they are easier
One unsuccessful attempt down.... Realised I have nuts from my spare turbo. I didn't get very far Anything I tried removing to get to the turbo had something else in the way of removing that
I managed to get the second nut on but need a lot of space to get them on tight. I was also under the impression that there were only three studs on the turbo until looking at my spare
Success! Figured out how to remove the air box and managed to tighten up the two nuts still hanging on plus added one. The last one is impossible to get to and I'm certain the entire car, right down to the bootlid, needs dismantling to get to it. But three nuts on tight and one missing is better than two missing and the others loose enough to see daylight through the gasket
