You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Do you have any pics of your cam sprockets? I'd be suprised if they had worm enough to cause this noise. Do they look any worse than this? How muck slack is in your cam chain?

I too was thinking lifter when I was listening to the engine right after filling up with oil. I haven't got a pic of them, the only one I took last week when I had the cam cover off was from directly above
I didn't think it was wise at the time to give the chain a good jab while it was off either so I don't know how much slack there is.
