ADU RS2 connecting rod bearing - sputter treatment
Hello,
The question is relevant and who knows the company that makes the RS2 ADU connecting rod bearings ? Material is specially treated and far more better than others.
This knowledge probably might offer a good way to save in the bearings area if the original vendor and partnumbers are found.
This is one candidate:

German:
Does someone have that info ?
Is the "SPUTTER" treating the special treating in stock RS2 CR bearings ?

I have heard that the sputter are the RS2' s upper Rods bearing in the big end! The bearing on the downside are not so hard as they supposed to integrate "dirt" from the oil, so that the big end of the rod don't scrub! If the oil is changed earlier than 8000 Kmh then if you want you can go for sputter up and down on the big end!Go Holset or Go RS4Comment
