Is this the hose you need to tap into to fit a mechanical boost gauge?





How do you know where to take a live feed from, so that the gauge lights up when the car lights are on? I don't fancy trying to route a cable from the fuse box to the dash vents.

that's where my boost guage is tee'd into for boost. It's the line that goes to the ECU.

In terms of illumination I tapped into the wire in the stock loom that feeds the stereo. There is a 'lights on' feed to dim the illumination at night on the stereo. Can't remeber what colour the wire was but a 12 volt tester will soon prove it.

That's the one. The end of it goes to the ECU.

You get a feed for the lights from almost anywhere. The three aux gauges would be a good place or the illumination wire for the radio.

Thanks chaps. Have fitted the gauge into the vent, so I'll try and get it plumbed in tomorrow.
