I was thinking for replace my 1.9 TDI 90hp (Audi 80), for a 1.9 TDI 110 hp from a Golf 3.
i only need replace the ECU or the cables from the engine also?

i think you need to swap the wireloom and it's not plug and play ,audi vs golf
also some vacuum valves are different
but the most important is that i believe your audi enginemounts are not fitting at all because on the tdi 110 hp golf engine have no screw holes on the same place as audi have,check this

Ive done the vnt conversion on my mk2 golf and now tunning decent power. Can give plenty of guidance...also got a 110 turbo for sale cheap aswell. Pm me if needed
not so easy to swap.... the engine are diff.... the oilfiltehousing MAY NOT fit... the clutchpakkage does NOT fit.. the flywheel does NOT fit... you need to undress the engin to the bare "longblock"... even the you will realise it will NOT fit in...
upgrade the engine you have in car. its not bad shape....( low comp etc)... sutch for M-tdi or tdi forum.com....lots of help there...
my engine is bad.. i have the choose another good 90hp or a 110hp from a passat/a4/a6
