Rifledrill is usually made on X-beam rods like Pauter and FCP Engineering. But there is no problems in using rods without rifledrill, most of all after market rods are without it and have been proven to last long. We luckily do have oil squirters in our engines.

Marc @efiexpress offered some rifle drilled rods with the same price as non rifle drilled iirc.

What are the thoughts on the fcp rods. They seem quite cheap? R they any good or am I better off with a brand name??

I'm pretty certain Audrius uses them in his drag car, he's sponsored by them, and that's putting out over 600hp.

Or you could try Sten Parner. There was a group buy on here a few years ago so loads are using them, inc me, not heard of a failure yet

Only 'brand' names I know of are Carrillo or Arrow and they are BIG money.

Every china rod kit would take 800hp+, the problems are usually with the measures and bearing clearences. Any rods you will use, check the clearence.
