    Overfuelling??

    Afternoon all,

I had my spark plugs out over the weekend just to check there condition and found them to be very sooty on the ring round the plug and a little on the spark bit itself.... is this normal being a turbo or is my car chucking too much fuel in to the car?

Im renewing the plugs over the coming weeks but just wanted to see whether or not something else might need looking at.

    Thanks for any replies

Just to add, the car doesnt seem to bad, when driving i'll get between 50 and 70 miles per £10 of unleaded (not Super) used depending on driving style, i dont see this as excessive.

Do you exclusively run "normal" unleaded? How about running a few tanks of Optimax or Ultimate through it?

I'll take them out again and take a pic later on in the week.
Yes correct plugs AFAIK... they are Bosch Platinum but will check the exact model when they come back out again.
