Morning all

I'm looking at the possibility of doing a 2.7t swap into a C4 A6
I have a handle on a 1999 AJK engine with 4B0 907 551D ECU from a C5 A6 6speed
Does anyone know which immobiliser system this uses and is it compatible with the C4 A6 immobiliser system?
From what I can gather, the C4 has an Gen-I system with the separate control module and the C5 is Gen-II, but could have either a separate control module or integrated cluster
I see that it can be erased given the right tools, and this is gives the possibility of adding an aftermarket system but I'd rather have the factory immobiliser in place.
In which case I would need the (original?) instrument cluster as well?

The immo will be in the cluster with the c5. The c4 has a separate immo box that's not compatible with the immo2. Easier to just remove the immo all together
