Oil cooler fitting.

Hi peeps,

After careful examination of my current oil cooler, it appears its fairly new (yahooooo).

the pipes are in good shape and the cooler is in good shapr too. the problem lies with the cover/braket which guides the air into it and the circular mounting of some sort which attaches the pipes to the cooler itself from the left and right.

Sorry im not technically minded but can these "pipe mountings" be bought seperate? dont know if anyone has that audi part program to show a diagram/part no's ?

Dude, sort of had same prob when i fitted mine. The mounting just turns to dust I made up my own bracket to replace the origional, it cost pence

Does the oil get cooled before going to the filter, or does it go to the filter and then get cooled?
