    Radiator options

What are the current options for an S2 radiator?

    Stock 38mm £160ish?

    Vidar's alloy 56/70/86mm ones 440euro

    Ebay alloy 40mm £200
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/40mm-2-row...item3f2aad5b31

    Ebay alloy 70mm £280
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/70mm-high-...item1c44b70070

    Custom from a rad company

    034-no point on importing?

    Colin-ex radtec £400ish?

I am not inclined to buy the ebay ones.

    Any other suggestions or thoughts?

I would think a 50mm one would be suitable for an RS2+ setup?

I'm pondering on getting a nice alloy rad also , my bleed screws are just spinning, they will not open, curious as to what you decide !

Any reason you picked the 70mm?

Just trying to decide what width to get now?

Is there any stock radiators with similar core sizes that we can make end tanks for? It's on my to do list for when new engine is fitted although I have a pretty new ABY rad fitted, it's a bit big n at a jaunty angle with AAN inlet.

              hi andy
i also got a 70mm alu radiator from vidar and payed 380 euro inclusive shipping en custom adjustments (good material)
trust me and go for a 70mm core, you dont have enough cooling and you never know what you're going to modify on your car in the future
maybe later you go to buy my 500hp setup(like the rs2 setup) when i go for more

Thanks Nick, going to just get the 70mm one!

Its 400euro, 50ish shipping, so didnt want to pay 20%VAT + import duty

Yeah I want it to be 500bhp proof for future upgrades

Has your call settled down now?

                    almost finished
had some water and oilcooling problems but that's solved
now i'm placing a vacuum booster on the clutchpump to make the pedal lighter (thread follows )
and then finally on the dyno for fine tuning
                    cant wait for the results

Just for the power I'm going for Andy and I even showed it to my friend who does Ali welding a lot and he said that's very cheap.

My one from Colin Reay (ex Radtech) cost £360 which I thought was pretty reasonable given how well made it is.

Mine's also from Colin and is standard thickness and size. Did my first track day on an airfield last week. Did loads of drag races/ 130mphish runs up the long straits without exceeding 90 deg once. IMHO 70mm may be unnecessary for fast road use.
