    Bad breather hose check valve

    Hi

Changed my breather hose check valve (see picture, thanks SJM autotechnik) because it was leaking when the engine was on boost (causing serious power loss), and after a while the new one had an even worse leak. (I have a theory that this valve gets clogged up with oil and gunk while driving in "vaccum mode" which i do a lot. Then when the boost comes on it's not able to close completely)

Is anybody else having this problem, and is it possible to get a more robust check valve? What's done about this on the high power engines? Guess it's removed along with installation of a catchtank.

Tried to plug the hoses where it sat instead, but then a lot more oil was sucked in through the connection on the MAF to turbo hose.

    Cheers

200 and s2 breather is different. Again I have to wonder why both engines are 3B.

S2 has the valve near the crank connection and there is one extra hose to the cam cover that 200 does not have.

High power guys should all use a cyclone to separate the oil.

I have a 200tq with 3b engine. Can I buy and fit the S2 version? My guess is that it has to be better?
