    Intercooler leak repair

So discovered a boost leak from the intercooler today, I bought it with a pulley mark on it but to be fair it's been fine for over 2 years.

Has anyone ever managed to seal one up themselves without welding?
    Sikaflex etc ??

It's an rs2 unit and even though I think they are over rated id like to try and repair it.

    Suggestions please

I got a local radiator repair shop to fix my RS2 one. He charged £10 and they are holding strong after a year.

It had been repaired when I bought it it turns out, the repairs had lasted 3 years before one blew out. The repair guy stripped out the other crap repairs and redid them all. I'm not sure what he used but it can be done to very good effect.

I once used JB weld to repair a golf club. Not a good idea if you ever want to change shafts again. I should imagine it would do a fine job bonding to any metal for eternity.

Use JB Metal weld on it - works a treat and hardens solid
