you may NEED valves for solid lifter... they are shorter .... not so long

solid lifters need to be lashed, and set to the correct height. there will be many hours of work, measuring, ordering shims, etc.

it is a long process, and the cams will have a spec that the lash or gap between cam lobe and lifter needs to be, like .007 to .011 on intake and .009 to .013 on exhaust.

it sounds like the lifters you have use a "shim-on-valve-stem" lash cap, or under bucket shim.

Will the lash caps be enough to close the distance? İn my oppinion there has to be somethings more because the distance seemed more than the lash caps!

so there is not any problem if i bought mechanic cams and valve with lash caps ?

lash caps come in ALL DIFFERENT thicknesses. you actually have to order or grind them to fit. and you wont use the same exact thickness on many if any valves. they can be all varying thicknesses.

ummm not sure the question but i think you want to know if it is the same for different cams?. but the lash is set for each valve and cam set. if the lift changes at all, then it needs relashed. so do it now, it is for this camset only. change cams later you will need to relash.
