    Loom repair wire?

    Silly question;

    I need to extend my TPS, IAT and ISV wiring to fit a wagner intake, what kind of wire do I need to use?

    I think I have seen a roll of yellow loom repair wire before?

    You can get the tails and new plugs from Audi, which might be a nice way of doing it, otherwise, I'm sure someone will let you know what to use pretty soon...

      Use the same core size as per the factory schematics, if you are really sad like me you can find the correct colours too
      Cable sectional area in sq mm is on the factory schematics e.g. 0.5 is in sq mm.
      Use high quality automotive grade thin wall cable I.e. Not eBay *****!
      Someone like AEC or Polevolt will be able to supply what you need inc the correct JPT terminals. Drop me a line if you need to mate

          Is core size the same as guage?

          Sorry, I am a bit of an electrical muppet.

            Is the 0.5 above the colour the core size?

                  You can buy lengths of yellow repair wire from Audi. As said make sure what size you need.

                  000979009 is 0.5mm and used for the mfts connector wiring. They come with pins each end so cut in half to give 2 wires.
