Head welder???

Hi, my cylinder head have a defect in the water pipes , I think the previous owner put normal water.
You think that is necessary to weld the area?
I will upgrade it , so I 'm checking it all .
It is normal? They hold well?
How much can it cost?

I don't think its necessary, it should seal fine. Remember coolant pressure is only around 1.2bar maximum

I search on ebay and all heads have this defect maybe i try put in, but i prefer listen testimonials.

A skim and that should be fine, I've seen much worse go back together and be OK.
