2001 S3 Oil Pump Info Required

Hi all, I am fitting a New Oil Pump and Chain to my S3 engine, my question is, doe's the Oil Pump have timing up marks anywhere?? or doe's it just fasten back up again with out the need to do this??

Hi audi maniac you just put it on how it came of there's no timing marks as far as I know and make sure the pickup pipe is clean if not buy a new one don't fit it just buy a new 1 for £16+ and make sure you crank the engine over for about 10 seconds with the coil packs unplugged to get oil every in turbo all best
