Gates racing blue timing belts

Ive been in contact with gates about making a timing belt for the AAN/3B that would be part of their racing line. i have installed several of these belts on 1.8T and V6 engines and i love them. gates wanted to know if i had any ties in the forums to get a buy in going on getting the first run of these belts going. would any of you guys have any interest at all in having the gates racing belt over the regular conventional belt? they havnt quoted me a price or how many would have to be sold to get the first batch out yet but i will post info as i get it from them.

AAN and ABY = 054109119H 151 tooth timing belt. (151 Z in Katespeak)
NM,7A and 3B = 054109119G "toothed belt" 147 teeth (not 151 for the 3B)
RS2 = 034109119C = 150 teeth according to the photo (not 148 as I once thought)

Yea just about to say Gates already have a pretty blue one for the ABY/AAN its the Gates T137R which is 151teethx19mm

Which one is that? Audi Tradition was out of RS2 belts but they got stock again.

So your saying the nissan CA18DET timing belt fits perfectly on the AAN with no modifications and no chance of slippage? does the nissan belt have the same tooth shape as the audi gears?

Yes as far as I'm aware the Nissan belt is the same, a couple of their old models are listed on the box of the Gates OE spec replacement I purchased from a local motor factors for my 3B.

Still can be purchased somewhere in the system = available.

Can't be purchased new anywhere for life nor money = NLA
