Not an engineer no. Not a rude, arrogant, overbearing, imperious a&*ehole either

How do you know its absolute? How do you know James didn't zero his level before he measured it? You just assumed. You know what they say about assumptions don't you?

        Dave, Dave, Dave,

Over here is different to over there.

We're less abrupt and more conciliatory.

Your content is lovely and appreciated, but your delivery / accompanying comments can on occasion be agravating.

You're perfect for a number of days, and then it happens, so somebody says something, it's all good again until the next time.

        HTH.

You guys are too funny. Really. You don't know what the 28.3 degrees really means anymore than I say I don't know what it means. And you then get all up in arms when I try to more info to establish whether the reading was zero'd some how or whether the chassis was level before hand.

That wasn't being rude or arrogant. That was asking for more information.

But hey... carry on being imprecise.

              Or not.

Who really gives a flying funk? Those gauges automatically zero when they're powered up, no need to get your knickers in a twist because you're a pedantic so and so. Yes you're knowledge is appreciated, there's no denying it, but you come across as a right prat sometimes. Chill the hell out.

                Canada Ey?

Also on the same floor the whole length of 80x80 box measured 0.1 across the entire length of the workshop floor.

we will see how it matters when mine runs as its been "chucked" in. mounts welded in etc.

well it looks ok and it fits, bonnet shuts was the verdict.

I think sometimes we get a little hung up on things and can all be pedantic at times.
