    valve cover oil seepage.

Recently replaced the new VC on the AAN.i found the oil seepage through out the front
section of aan(around upper the Engine number) whenever spirited driving.i think there's some pressure gets into the VC.i have removed the one way valve under intake manifold and blocked off the PCV pipe end.i plumbed the vacuum hose directly from N80 under the metal nipple under the intake manifold.i could only imagine the only pressure source that by any chances could get into the VC is the blowby from the crankcase.
anyone had some kinda experiences on I5 motor

Pop: You have to remember that a) Audi engineers generally know what they are doing and b) the corporate "bean counters" wouldn't let the engineers put something on the engine and increase production costs unless the engineers thought it was absolutely necesssary. In this case its all the components of the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system that includes the ventilation of the underside of the cam cover.

In this case, it the flow of oil vapours from the underside of the cam cover (the pink flow lines below) and the blow-by from the crankcase (the blue flow lines) are mixed together and either drawn into the engine via the green lines (and the one-way bleeder valve) under engine vacuum or into the MAF to turbo hose via an eductor effect under higher intake flow rates and boost (the orange flow lines). If you decide to eliminate some of the features that the Audi engineers put lots of thought and deutsche marks (Euros) into, then you shouldn't be surprised that there are consequences, e.g. pressurized cam cover and oil leakage. Sorry, unless you have a very high horsepower 20V turbo engine, I am a strong proponent of keeping the OE PCV system in place and fully functioning as per the original intent. The only thing I would "give" on would be installing a catch-can after Item 4 but discharging back to Item 6.

      Thanks Dave,
yes my car is running above RS2'ish at the moment.i guess i have too much blowby due to the engine itself either the stock PCV system is insufficient for the extra power from the bigger turbo.i have read many threads about the stock PCV couldn't handle the heavy mods I5 and finally they eliminated the stock PCV.I will try to put the one way bleeder valve back.it ain't problem.i also have the Provent 200 on the breather system and put it exactly the same position as your suggestion.i found when i give it a few hard pulls.i noticed some oil in the Provent 200 but never had any dips of oil when cruising.i also have a baffled sump which helped reducing the volume of oil deposited in the Provent 200 too.my plan is going to separate the breather hose from crankcase and valve cover and put both ends on the separate drinking water and ruled out where the oil is exactly coming from.

PS.Dave i think the photo links from 12V.org.they were all down.
