    Booooooooost? What's your take?

Right I thought I would put a post out seeing what members who know their stuff think. Iam sure many members are in the process of making project cars. After searching the net and asking various people, I haven't really got set answer for the following:

    - Boost pipe work, does dia matter? If so what are the advantages and disadvantages? 2 1/2" or 3 "

    - boost vacuum and pressure lines, does size matter? AN3 or AN4

-is there a rule or is a trial and error

Now iam on the understanding that the pipewor/line length/dia, will affect the speed of air and pressure.

Any valid feedback would be helpful and useful to others no dought

    Mostly irrelevant.
As long as it's not much smaller than stock you will be fine.

I agree. The larger or longer the inlet tract the more air to compress. Hence reverse inlet manifolds.

I would imagine 2.5 inch dia piperwork would suffice for most conservative power builds.
