This volvo turbo is still my favorite i have had on any 20vt car. Now thses volvo turbos are basically the efr turbos that borg warner is selling now, basically they tested the technology in the s60r and v70r models. My next build will probably have one of the efr turbo kits that hank is selling, amazing spool and great top end, the ideal turbo.

id expect the turbo is towards its flow limit so maybe a ported head aint gonna help. not good bang for buck id expect.

Sorry for the delay, I did look at the ID badge but mine has corroded. The car is getting painted at the minute so has the front end removed, I went to get a better look yesterday but couldn't really see anything more. This is what I think they say

The part no you need is written on my turbo i put up unless i am wrong its as per the metal plaque on the turbo.5324 970 7400.

The generic Turbo part code is familiar,mine is 7401. I just finished lifting that turbo off my car and fitted stick K24 as temp replacement for now. 7400 seems to have "slight" oil leak issues, so instead of having it rebuilt again i would like to just swap the CHRA, but it looks like the separate CHRA is nowhere to be sold, only full turbos
