    Which coils to use 2.0T, 4.2 V8 B7 S4

As part of my upgrade I am now ready for the purchasing of the 5 coils and coversion connector kit.

Can anybody advise which coil is going to give me the least problems. And does the dwell differ between the coils.

I have two coil types on offer to me.

    077 905 115Q B7 S4 the 4.2 V8

    or

    07K 905 715F not sure think its off a 2.0T

    Thanks

The dwell is controlled by the ECU. Stock is in the order of 4 mS. These integral-POS coilpacks only need 2.5 mS. The issue is mostly irrelevant unless you track the UrS in question. Then the extra dwell just adds to the internal heat of the already hot coils (due to the high RPM requirements of tracking). People like prj (Dmitri) can provide you (for money) chip sets that produce less dwell.
