3b Alternator alternatives? VR6 120amp?

Hi all,
I've searched through but cannot find what I'm after which is would I be able to use an alternator from a VR6 (120amp) on my 3b engine?
The mounting is about the same, I may need to swap over the pulley to fit the belt and the part number is the same except for the last 3 digits....
Anyone know if this is a viable option?
Asking as I've not purchased the alternator from my friend yet or gone to view my UR yet..

Not even close. You will need to make brackets to use the AAA VR6 120A unit onto the 3B/7A/NM alternator bracket + swing arm.

Best bet is a ABY alternator with a 3B pulley on it. I think you'll struggle to drive a 120A off a v-belt though.

Or send your alternator off to get upgraded as I did and now it's around 130amp
