    K26 vs T3 Flange

    Is a T3 outlet less restrictive than a K26?
My turbo came with a T3 hotside but the original buyer wanted a K26 so Kai at KRB chopped it off and welded on a K26.
My question is would it be wise to go back to a T3?
I don't want to buy another hotside if I don't need it.

    It's a Comp CT4-5865 btw

IMHO welding a turbo hotside isn´t a good idea anyway...

T3 and K26 is nearly the same diameter area (26,8 and 25,5cm^2) So no big deal here. I don´t know, how big this turbo is, and what hp it is built for. 500+hp, when tubular manifold is used, you won´t find K26 flange. Smaller ones, you can use both T3 an K26 on Wagner´s.

What is the problem with the K26 right now, buyer doesn´t want it any more?

It's my turbo, it should do around 550ish im told.
I can get a tubular manifold with either flange, i'm liking the look of Alberts manifolds he's recently posted about.
Just wondering if K26 is more restrictive thats all?
