New Style Coils cured my Misfire / Hesitation

On my AAN with low mileage, I had a hesitation/misfire between 3 and 4k roughly, and then it pulls cleanly, with oem original coils.

So speed in my 1.8T style coils from another an ABY engine, and the hesitation /mifire is gone. Car pulls like a machine with no hesitation to the red line.

    Just posted for other's benefit.

TBH, I love that it is fixed, and the way it pulls, but love the look of the oem coils. :roll eyes:

Also changed my bypass valve a few days ago which improved things a bit, pulled with a bit more vigor, but didn't fix the misfire.

So I obviously had two faults.

Gonna swop in a new S2 N75 valve in a few days to see if there is any change, not expecting anything to get better, but a new one can't do any harm, will post result in due course.

    HTH.

    Good news.

However, I must say, when my car pulls with more *visor* , I just raise the brim on my ball cap so I can see better.

(Don't you just luv an autocorrect with a limited vocabulary?)

      Agreed, corrected, thanks Dave.
