    Works all the time

Never had to get the head on the milling machine and get a proper centered bolt removal.
All the times works with a 3-4mm hole and corresponding torx.Had tools for bolt removal but i do not like to get something conical for this job,as if the bolt is too tight the tool will screw itself and will push towards outside and press the walls getting all more stuck.

Broken Exhaust Manifold Stud Extraction in the car.

I have abused Torx bits like that on various stuck Allen head bolts on my AAN in the past, but not on a broken exhaust stud. Good job.

When the engine is still in the engine bay and the EM is still on it is more difficult because you need to create a centered hole in the shaft of the stud.

You need to start with a 90 deg angle drill like this:

And have a stud extraction kit something like this one:

According to A20V200 who just did this on his car, in situ, "the silver pieces on the left are the guides for the drill bit to stay centered and slide right into the EM and head. Then you tap in the hexagonal extractor shaft that is next to the same size bit. The hex heads on the right go around the extractor shaft and you turn those with a box wrench...simple really. Don't forget to use some cutting oil as well and blow out the shavings after you drill it out. "

Feel encouraged to post small tricks and tools you use in hard situations when working on our old cars.
Another small things to do and use for easy working on our cars:
Made a new clutch disc aligning tool. The old one was about 0.3 mm smaller than disc and gearbox install was a little hard. Now it got onto its place just "click"

A bad location when torquing gearbox mounts, almost no tool fits,no tool travel. My way of solving things, and may help others. Can be used also on propshaft bolts.
