Hmm interesting, am i correct if i say the original wrist pin size is 20mm?

What would the CR be with 81.5 mm pistons?

Yes, It's clearance for OEM pistons. Clearance for forged pistons like Woessner may be different.

Yes 20mm is the original size. CR at 81.5 is around 8.5:1

I'm now running JE pistons made from 2618 alloy. But the pistons make a lot off noise and all-ready have wear marks on the skirt.

I will run the engine this year but next winter i will take the engine apart to see if the skirt damage is become worse. I then like to try the 4032 or Mahle 142 alloy pistons. I think thy are more suitable on the street.

Yup, I went for the Wossner due to tighter clearances - you want this on a road car I think. IIRC Wossner clearance is 0.03

Yep I'm running something like 0.03 clearance on the wossner pistons and have zero piston slap and little to no oil use.

Fairly sure I'm running tighter than their recommend value.

What kind of setups are you running with the wossners? And how much hp?

Woessner works well 4years in my 4cylinder 600hp 2,0 opel engine with out problem, so 750-800 in 5 cylinder with out problem.

You are right: I couldn't remember so I checked.
I am running their recommended clearance. No piston slap or oil burn

Today I got a quote from my local garage for the oversize Mahle pistons, it was €200 ex VAT each. So maby Mahle is getting interesting after all
