Well you're going to love this one, although I can honestly say, I am completely pi**ed off by it.
Finally got the SWB back and those of you that know me are aware of all the stress and trouble that I've had with this. I started to try and work out why the engine wouldn't turn over and eventually found an electrical fault and fuse 12 for the instrument cluster had gone.
The next time I put the key in and turned the ignition, to my delight the alarm didn't engage and the engine turned over but did not fire. At the time I was distracted by a fuel leak elsewhere, but came back to this later.
Concerned that I may have flooded the engine I set about removing the rocker cover to find it was full of water. The coil packs seem to be corroded as well. Also, the brand new oil looks sh*gged much to my delight.
So far I've taken the water out of the plug holes, and removed the coil packs for drying out. Obviously I will need to put new oil in tomorrow along with a new filter.
Have I missed anything?
