Tesla P85D vs. a certain Audi

The automotive world is beside themselves over the 691hp Tesla P85D and
for good reason, it is a true monster. Tesla has taken electric cars to a whole new level.
Youtube is full of videos showing the D wasting Ferraris, Lambos and Vettes left and right.

It is the 0-30mph acceleration that impresses the most, with 1.5s for the 0-30mph. Plenty of youtube vids showing unsuspecting folks reaction to that kind of launch.

1.5s to 30mph rung a bell, though:
Can anyone name a certain Audi that was timed to that very same 0-30 time back in the 90s. 1994, to be exact?

Pretty cool that a 20 year old, stock, Audi will match the holeshot of what (seemingly many) seem to think is an unmatchable car in the 0-30.

Oh yes, plenty of videos out there showing the P85D pulling away from Ferraris, etc, like this one.
A bone stock RS2 (or RS2d S2) can do the same. Needs a sidestepped clutch at 7K (or launch control), though...

Yeah, I wondered if that was what you meant. It would be just insanely cool, though. I'm not gonna sacrifice my drivetrain with a 7000rpm clutch dump as I push close to 2x stock torque, and not being stock, it would defeat the purpose, but someone should make a video with a bone stock, 21 year old RS Blau superstar catapulting to 50kmh just as fast as the ''unbeatable'' new kid on the block
