I am sure the MTM tuning options for the RS2 fitted a larger turbo for a 350bhp ish kit. The MTM stage 2 etc were surprising as they started changing parts at much lower levels than we do now. More in line with OEM boost levels rather than running turbos flat out.

They used to be on the QST website, but it has been updated and the tuning options removed above a stage 1 remap.

No problem mate, if you can't laugh at yourself then it's a pretty poor show, I pissed myself when noticed Charlies edited version. Robin William, very sad, poor guy, he will be sorely missed.

Yeah I recall reading about MTM conversions offered for the RS2 using a bigger charger to achieve around the 350BHP mark though I have a suspicion the associated toque figure would be more impressive.

The turbo has virtually no play at all after 20 years and 87K miles so I guess using a larger unit and not pushing it anywhere near it's limit does make some sense. I'm sure it's been on there since first being fitted from the condition of the clips etc, as I've said it's a very tidy job they even made a little heat proof blanket for the N75.

When I take it apart again to fit silicone hoses I'll photograph it all properly and document exactly what parts were used or modified, it may help another owner in future.

Roger Shaw was kind enough to send me these pics of the chips in his known to be MTM S4 ECU, I'm no hand writing expert but I'd go go as far as to say the same person wrote on my chips, the style is quite distinctive.
