Fliped engine on 90 degrese, oil coming from intake manufold

I needed to do some work on my engine which needed pulling out of the car and needed to stay sideways. But oil come out from intake manufold,i sopose it came throw open valves? Shud i remove the spark plugs and crank engine so he remove the remainig oil throw spark holes or i just try cranking car like evrything is normal?
P.s. engine was fliped for 1-2h and was all night in "normal" position. Any toths?

Did you have all the oil in the motor or did you drain it first.

It won't hurt to pull the plugs out and turn it on the starter with a rag over the plug holes.. Then Atleast your guaranteed it isn't going to hydraulic..

I think you should remove the plugs because it could hydraulic and bend valves. Sam80 said put rag over all plug holes before cranking motor as it can be quite messy. Read rusty,s post ref plugs. Good luck

Engine is upright now so oil will drain down but can not drain past pistons rings. So should not have to do anything else.
