2.5 volvo engine in audi urs4?

Does anyone now if you can use a block from 2.5 glt engine from volvo 850 and put audi urs4 aan top on it? :-)

Agree.. for one the starter motor is mounted on the opposite side.

I ask because i have a 2.5 engine and wanted a bigger engine in the urs4 :-)
The urs4 is has much power but it does not work before the turbo kicks in, and thats around 4500 rpm :-/ have someone a tip to make the turbo spool faster or how to get more power at a lower rpm? :-)

why not use an audi/vw 2.5l bottom end? they only came in the 10v version, but you can modify it for a 20v head... why change brands? way to much work.

I have an Volvo D5252T that is an VW/Audi AEL block. It's possible to get, with 83.5mm pistons and stock 95.5mm crank, a 2630cc engine, with 100mm crank, 2754cc engine.

I though it was the same engine as the d5252T. But then I think Im gonna buy a d5252t from an volvo v70 pr somthing and put a 20v head on it :-D

But can you use the original crankshaft from the d5252t and just change the rods and pistons and put a audi 20v head on it? :-)
