I saw these the other day and wondered if they'd be worth taking a punt on, then I thought, are rods the sort of thing you want to be gambleing on quality??

They are demagnetized- great! Enemy submarines and magnetically controlled torpedoes won't recognise you

same type but not the same name as the sets Ive used a few times, one was a stroker with over 540lbs torque with its neck rung every time out 10yr ago and still going strong.
none have failed up to now thats my experience with them

Mate bought such rods (from reputable reseller from norway) and the main bearing bore is out-of-round by such an amount that it eats the bearing top coating.
Wise advise: get them measured up while torqued up before fitting.

VMI rods use non genuine ARP rod bolts, 2 engine failures over on club gti rod bolts sheering with catastrophic damage.
The ebay rods with genuine ARP hardware seam to be up to the job though.

I believe the rods were manufactured in Australia not from China.i never used those but i personally know the store's owner.he always stands behind his products. His name is Sven Richter.
