Hello guys!
a friend of mine has a problem with his S4 AAN.. it has a new turbo (K26 3071 O)
and is mapped properly.
first of all the parts which were changed as new parts:
Ignition coils, a lot of different spark plugs were tested, hall sensor, both crank sensors, knock sensors, G42, G62, o2 sensor, ALL air hoses, the car is pressure tested to 1,7 bar.. no leaks, air flow meter, N75, BOV, wastegate, wastegate spring (standard, PKM and reinforced), bosh 044 with power directly from the battery, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, compression is ok, turbocharger was also changed as new, ECU,...
so here is the problem:
the problem starts from the second gear up to 6. gear.. with WOT from 2000rpms the boost pressure builds up really fast.. at 3200 1,6..1,7 bar.. in this region the engine coughs really hard, after 3500..4000 rpm the engine pulls up top 1,6..1,7 bar until redline with no cough or anything.. we tried almost everything and we don't know what the problem is..
