Which 5 cylinder engine, gearbox and rear diff base for 500-600bhp (Sports Quattro)

Hi,
I am after some advice, I am new to audi engines I normal build big power Vauxhall engines.
Sorry I don't know engine codes etc so please bare with me

What I am after knowing is I a building a SWB Sport Quattro but it started life as a 1.8 with a 5 speed. I don't mind making mounts, tube sub frames etc
So I know how to make power and what we need to do I just need to know what base I need to use.
so can I buy a N/A 5 cylinder and use that as a base?
dose it have to be a 20v turbo out of the UR?
Which gearbox and diff can I use?
is it just best to buy a S2 and use all the bits?

Get any 2.2L 5 cylinder block + 20v head (3b,aan,aby). Bore 81 if you plan to use oversized pistons.

Get 01E gearbox (4.11 main) + rear diff from any coupe with 4.11 + flanges from S4 2.2T.

Best to buy S2 for full swap or get S4 AAN for full engine swap with loom + 5/6 cylinder type 89 Quattro coupe for other bits.
