034motorsport timing cam belt kit with waterpump for RS2/ADU

hi, I purchased a set of timing cam belt kit from 034motorsport for my RS2. I checked the water pump it has 29teeth, the belt p/n is 054109119H (151 teeth)

as far as I know, the pump for RS2 should be 26teeth, and the RS2 cam belt p/n should be 034109119C which should have 150teeth.... does that mean they sold a wrong set of stuffs to me?

Definitive Timing Belt and Water Pump PNs and teeth Info

    Whaaaaattttt?? 034 got is wrong?

What you got is the AAN/ABY correct parts. They are not ADU part but they will work just fine together on an ADU.

For water pump I think its not too much issue as its just related to the rate of water flow. But for cam belt, the number of teeth difference will make the timing different and cause disaster to the engine?

please advice if my thinking is right or wrong...

Your thinking is wrong. The RS2 cam belt had fewer teeth than the AAN/ABY cam belt because the ADU water pump sprocket was smaller and only had the 26 teeth, as you stated in your first post. When you run the AAN/ABY water pump, the 151 tooth cam timing belt is the exactly correct one to use. Apple belts with apple water pumps. Orange belts with orange water pumps (so to speak). No mixing of apples and oranges and you will be fine.

My AAN with all the RS2 goodies makes 360 hp and still runs the OE AAN water pump and 151 tooth belt. Makes you wonder why the Porsche engineers thought they had to change the ABY (AAN) water pump and belt in the first place.
