    I've taken a ride of a RS2 with 3071R (OEM map, with WMI) and the run is truly amazing. It was a test drive by the seller but he changed his mind not to sell his car

    I am looking for quick setup, like this kit:

    Finally, an easy, bolt on turbo kit capable of 500+ crank HP for the Audi 20v 5-cylinder. Includes everything needed to install in an Audi 3B/AAN application including oil/water line kit, your choice of GT Turbo and Silicone Intake Hose. Turbos will feature a 2.75" inlet, with bolt-in KKK turbine housing of your choice (Please Note: GT30R comes with a 3" inlet.) Update: Installation Tips for the Audi I5 20V K26/GT Turbo Kit are now available for download. {{widget type="Magento\Cms\Block\Widget\Block" template="widget/static_block/default.phtml" block_id="27"}}

      The 3071 basically requires a built engine, one with up-rated rods, etc. A better (more streetable) choice is the GT2871R. Still lots of hp but less need for rods if the software is good. Less lag than an RS2 turbo down low and still lots of pull at the top end.

        3071 doesn't need a built engine on pump gas.

        We tune to 380wtq on stock engines with the stock ecu, no problem. the 3071 will do about 360whp and 330tq at most on US 93 octane at best when tuned properly with no detonation.

        there are lots of suitable turbo options other than rs2. if you want plug and play you might try one of the iroz billet options (billet k24, billet k26) or the volvo hybrid.

        if braided lines are an option then of course you have the garrett options as well as the new EFR kits that are pretty exciting. send me an email, support@efiexpress.com and I can set you up with some estimates.

          Thanks for the update Marc. All the 3071 AANs that I knew of had had upgraded rods as part of the 3071 set-up. Good to know that good tuning can eliminate that extra expense. Must require a wicked fueling set up (pump and injectors) to eliminate detonation.

            380 on 93 octane? What will it do on 98 octane from EU? Or even a 100 octane?

              I said we do tunes to 380wtq on stock internals, I didn't say the 3071 will do 380wtq on 93 octane. it will do about 330wtq. The turbo is capable of much higher than that but requires higher octane. maxed out on race fuel it will do 460wtq and 430whp.

                  There's a guy on Facebook who owns a radiator factory has started offering RS2 turbos. I've posted a link on Albert's Motorsport page (I can't access FB from the office)

                          KKK made the K24-7000 and K24-7200 turbos (7000 = 3B, AAN and ABY); 7200 = ADU RS2).

                          At some point before 2004, Borg-Warner bought the turbo division of KKK.

                          Around 2004 Borg-Warner started making "clone" RS2 turbos, using RS2 specs and parts but outside of the Audi and Porsche parts system. Yours is one of those later RS2 turbo clones. The key part is the last 4 numbers in the part number, i.e. 7200.

                            Details of these (availability, power, torque, spool, generic maps, etc) are scant on the internet. Can you provide any info here?

                              Yes I think so too. I'll have my original turbo out soon, will see if there is any difference.
