UrS4 ideas and tips for external air filter

I am doing an upgrade of turbo and manifold to GT30R with Wagner EM. I am keeping the stock MAF sensor and need a solution for air filter as OE box not sure it will fit.

I was thinking of this hose from turbo to MAF and 89mm ITG filter but not sure is best solution.

Would like to share your experiences and tips for this job.

    Thanks for your support guys!

Whatever you do remember that the turbo wants COLD air and that the factory airbox feed snorkle brought cold air from the very front of the car into the air box. None of the so-called "Cold Air Intake" systems sold for the AAN have enough shielding to prevent sucking warm/hot air from the engine bay (bad idea). If you weren't going to such a large turbo, I would recommend just staying with the OE system.

Think about how some of the Mercedes turbo diesel cars suck cold air through slots in the front of the right front fender (wing).
