I am having some of the same symptoms on my rs2. I pushed down the accelerator in second and got a load of spluttering the other day and since then she is down on power significantly. I can't replicate the spluttering, but when she is on boost from 3k she is not accelerating like she should.
I took the car to the garage and they checked for a boost leak, but none found and no fault codes. She has had new spark plugs recently and both the MAF and the lambda sensor have been replaced in the last year. She is booked into the garage, but the guys reckon it may be a fuelling issue and they also mentioned the fuel regulator to me. They are also planning to replace the fuel filter next time she is in. I let you know what they find.Comment

I honestly hope mine is a boost leak mate but don't think it is, I wish I had a spare maf to try as I've already cleaned the connections.
Worst of it is I've got to go to lowestoft today and it looks like I'll have to take the audi!!
I'm really not looking forward to it lolComment

This might be helpful (or not)!
Wast the earlier screen shoot of the advanced settings from a hot car or were you warming it up?Comment

ECU cannot achieve the requested AFR, MAF is reading more airflow than is reaching the chamber, too much fuel is being injected and you have a rich condition.
Try a thorough pressurised leak test first.
If you have NO leaks, look at the fuel system.
Try a new FPR (they are only around £25)
Check the injector harness & connectors
Try a known good MAFPanthero Coupé quattro 20vt

I had almost identical symptoms recently for a few weeks and had convinced myself it was a boost leak. - I only needed to take a short drive once a week and would try to drive with the boost needle on zero.
But before I even got around to doing a boost leak test it all fixed itself seemingly with a MAF connector clean and wiggle (which I had tried before).
It has been running fine for about a month now.
I still think I'm likely to have boost leak/s but like you Cossie7 I fail to see how a massive boost leak alone could cause these symptoms at close to idle & no boost one day and then fix itself to hold boost rock solid at ~1.4 Bar with no smoke or boost cut the next day. I had not even moved any hoses or tightened any connectors
I'm interested to hear how you go..
Edit: for reference my S2 (ABY) is bone stock apart from a Homefried chip and symptoms were very different to a failed POS which I've had a few times before.Last edited by mouse; 23 May 2015, 23:36.Comment
