    Replacement Box/Clutch/Flywheel.... Now Running Rough

A combination of being too busy to even attempt it, and preferred garages being too busy, I took it to a "general" garage that I have been to with other cars for 5/6 years.

Only picked up the car tonight, and the idle is crap... It's rough/lumpy at about 7/800 rpm. Almost missing. The revs then steadily rise on their own to about 1100/1200 rpm.
Blip of the throttle to 3k, it falls back to 7/800 rpm and is lumpy, then steadily, revs rise again

So come on, what do people think they have done to it?
It was fine before other than the gearbox was shagged, and flywheel had play.
    Lamba? ISV? Coil pack gone?
I'll try and do a blink test tomorrow....

Did they just pull the box out or the whole engine? Any fault codes? Maybe try unplugging ISV to see if its any better or worse

Just another random thought, has the exhaust been sealed up airtight? (Assuming they took at least some of it off)

Something not plugged in or an air leak would be the first guess.

I would politely take it back to them for a quick look over, just explain and they should be happy to take a look.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Shows the diversity of issues that people have found or experienced...
I think I might put this to bed... Culprit potentially looks like it was a vac hose, one that goes onto a T piece at the rear and the underside of the IM.
                Certainly idling well now.
I'll take it on a run later.
                Pic to follow.

Nice if its an easy fix, worth checking jubilee clips all tight as well.

I would boost leak test the car, good maintenance anyway, and its impossible to check for all leaks by eye.
