I've been told it's hard to refit the metal crankcase breather back on as I need the little metal pipe deleting which goes to the back of the head and fitting some new breather hoses into a swirl pot I could just block it at one side bit id rather just remove it all together any body btdt could share how they did there's when fitting a swirl pot and oil catch can
I wouldn't attempt to remove one of those again unless it's 100% necessary, their NLA and a sod to fit in situ, I made the mistake of removing mine to weld an AN fitting to it and had to use chemical metal to get it to seal properly.
With the engine out on a stand it's not a problem.

I am not clear what you are trying to do but if it is just adding in a catch can, then you want it *AFTER* all the crankcase ventilation bits. Mann ProVents are very user friendly for this application. Location would be something like this:

Yes that would of been great at the time urs4boy the crimp jubilees was covered in oil and crap so couldn't tell at the time till I sprayed Some brake clutch cleaner on the crankcase breather and realised
