On looking at the link, it reminds me of what a great resource this thread is.

Looking forward to you doing your UrS6, not that it needs it, but the thread would be unreal also.

      Best wishes Tom.

May the wind always be at your back.

You also David. One of these days I will get my back side over to Dublin and you and I can waste some time in a pub.

One of my goals with this project is to detail all the parts that make up the RS2. So many bits that make up a car.

Notwithstanding Bowie's comment, there has to be a company out there that sell these bushes as generic components.

Once found they should be able to recommend a suitable replacement on a like for like basis with the oem big lower radiator bush.

It doesn't look like too odd of a part.

                Just saying........

That's a pretty good point, there must be a similar bush used somewhere on another vehicle, it could come from anything from a Land-rover to a Metro it's just a case of finding it...

I lost mine when I took my S2 apart and did start to try and find alternatives, then I found a good one from my old 10V whilst looking for something completely unrelated in a box of stuff.

That's the little one located on the top left of the Rad, I purchased a couple of those expecting to get the bottom one.

As you know the bottom one is much larger and has an M8 thread each end whereas that one has M6 threads.
