    Identifying a chip

I bought a second hand ECU that the seller says is chipped.
My old ECU contains (according to VagCom) an MTM303-chip.
With the new ECU the car feels different to drive, but all I get in VagCom is this:
    2.2L R5 motr.RHV HS D02

    Is it a standard 230 PS-chip?
The car certainly feels different, but quicker...

I have an archive of chip photos and can probably identify the chips from a photo.
