    Engine mounts

Other than stock, what are people using?

I don't want the car to rattle itself to bits at idle, so some compliance is a must...

I haven't had the best luck with my car lately so I haven't been able to test them extensively.
They are definitely harsher than stock but not annoying imo.
If the engine itself idles nicely then I think all will be good.

No more stick movement though, that's for sure!

I'm using Bambridge ones and they're good. Same for gearbox, rear diff and top mounts.

I got some secondhand poly ones but haven't fitted them yet. If I like them, I'll look for some new ones, if not, then I can get OE ones from Audi tradition

I have Bambridge (Kev's) and they do create a fair bit of vibration. I wouldn't recommend them for a daily runner unless you are ripping the standard items apart.

Kev used very stiff poly, so something a little softer may be better. Will wait and see - with the rest of the poly and solid mounts, things are getting more and more hardcore
