    Head Gasket?

Not holding out much hope for this to be honest, think I know what the outcome will be!

Not been running for ~1.5 years. Starts smoking when up to operating temperature.

25 degrees today and water is literally dripping from the pipes, also was loosing coolant. Head gasket the only cause for this? Just want to be sure before I go down the road of starting to fix yet another problem!!

Keeping an eye on the temperature gauge and climate control screen for digital readout, engine is not wanting to overheat as far as I can tell.

Quite simply smoking will be burning oil, turbo valve stem seals or piston rings.
Get a sniffer test done to see if combustion gasses getting into coolant and pressuring system.
Are pipes getting too firm? Also have you tested the cooling fans?

I have seen one that looked liked steam train out exhaust that was obviously steam though. Blown between water gallery and combustion chamber on 1 and 2 cleaned bores and valves up a treat ;-)

Seems to be white smoke and only when warmed up, pretty sure it's not oil.

I will do the block test to see if any gasses in the cooling system. Pipes are stiff when it has been running for a while and coolant was bubbling over the top of the tank with the lid off.

Viscous fan is working correctly, not seen the electric fan kick in yet, but that might just be because it has not got hot enough.

It will boil out with cap.off it's the pressure that increases boiling point to circa 110 Celsius.
My advice sort any external leaks then see if losing coolant. You could use a pressure tester overnight if it's coolant into.combustion you will get a good steam cloud on start
