I took the s2 on a 500mile journey to Lyme Regis ,work not pleasure.
It ran fine until the last 30 miles. Then the boost started to reduce to 1bar with a noise when you lift of, that seems to sound like the waste gate chattering.
I have had issues with the maf connector recently, but this is different.
When the maf connector plays up it wont let you floor it , just bucks, and bangs through the exhaust. Fuel cut I imagine.
After it has done this it smokes for a few seconds on startup.
With the current problem it will let you floor it but does nothing with the boost.
Its like it is trying to reject the boost, a lot of noise and no go.
Today is my birthday, and I will have to get my hands dirty if I want to treat myself to a blast in the Bitch.
Always lets me down on my birthday, its like it knows its in for a thrashing
