    Injector Spray Pattern

I was just reading through Javad's huge power project and it got me thinking a bit. I know its dangerous when i do. lol

As boost is increased how is the injector spray pattern affected? As i understand it the pressure regulator keeps the fuel flowing at 3bar above the boost pressure? is that right?

On higher boost cars will the fuel injection be affected by the incoming air coming in faster?

I run 5 bar over the injectors. 6.6 bar absolute I think it´s called. They run very nice.
Above 6500 rpm they are open 98 % of time.
Are they affected by fast air. Don´t think that´s a problem. Never heard of that teori.

Yep - 3bar fuel pressure is always the NETT pressure resulting from the difference of fuel pressure in the rail and manifold pressure. As manifold pressure rises then so does rail pressure to keep the same nominal (say) 3bar pressure across the injector.

Can't imagine there being a great difference in spray pattern at different manifold pressure, as the pressure across the injector is always the same...
