    very low pitch whistling

Since I removed the turbo and sent it off to AET for a rebuild I have been getting a low pitch whistling for the first few times the turbo spools up.It happens a couple of times and then goes away, whens things start to heat up
    Any ideas chaps?

First drive of the day I have the same whistle, and then it goes away when it heats up. That was on my old S4, but I don't think I've noticed it on my current one.

Is the wheel not catching on the inside of the housing? (Seems unlogical after a rebuild though)

I had this issue on a very worn turbo but it made more of a ting than a whistle.

Mine did it too and it sounded like a laggy supercharger. Although since it came back from the coach builders, it's stopped...they didn't touch the engine. :/ I figure the turbo might be on the way out.
