Premapped 380hp chip and choice of turbo ?

I`m planning to install an MTM 380Hp kit on my car. I can get a hold of the the software and I know all the specs of the components in the kit short of the turbo itself.

So my question is;

How critcial is it that the specs of the turbo is 100% identical to the turbo intended for the software ?

The kit usually comes with a KKK 26/27 turbo but the combinations and variations of this turbo makes it impossible to find the exact one. I`m also considering the KX 400 or the KX 500 turbo wich are based on the KKK 26/27 setup ( at least as far as I know ). But I still need more info on these turbos. Anyone ?

Can't help with the turbo choice I'm afraid but I'll be keeping an eye on your progress. I'd be interested to know how far I can take the MTM turbo I have now, see if it'll be useful for my future plans.

Do you have an MTM specced turbo on you car now ? Any info on this turbo or your current setup ?

The MTM 380hp kit contains, fuelpump, IC, injectors, mapsensor, software, manifold, complete exhaust and open air kit.

It's an MTM hybrid from QST. As far as I know (and I'm guessing) it'll be the "special hybrid MTM turbo" which is in the 303bhp and 350bhp packages.

The turbo isn't changed again until the 380bhp package when it becomes an "MTM racing turbo charger".

I have no idea what the differences are though.

I currently have the RS2 exhaust manifold and a dahlback open air filter, plus I'm having a 3" turbo-back custom exhaust with sport cat fitted on Monday. I was planning on a remap sometime after then to see how far this setup will take me.

Fuel pump, injectors and intercooler would be next on my list I guess.

I've never had the car on a rolling road so couldn't give you any current figures, sorry.
