    Brisk spark plugs on AAN

    Hello enthusiasts!

I haven't found any clues and enthusiast opinions on these spark plugs on our beloved AAN. I had a set of LOR14LGS plugs on my tuned 80 B4 and they were great. Brisk has multiple plug lines for AAN and they are at good prices. The catalogue can be found at www.brisk.biz

I've had a fallout with OEM F5DP0R's which started horribly misfiring after being 1,5 months old when I fixed all intake boost leaks. They will go into the bin.

I'm undecided on this matter and my old NGK PRF7B are in my engine bay for now. It's either NGK or trying Brisk out.

Would be very grateful for opinions.

I'm now running NGK BCR8ES in my homefried ABY without issue. These are the plug of preference with the Nissan guys as an alternative to their standard PFR7B plugs. Copper cored plugs which don't foul easily and are as cheap as chips

How do our 20 valve miracles respond to Copper cores? I've seen recommendations of Bosch FR5DTC, but I'm really hesitant to try any spark plugs with Bosch written on them. Would like to stay with NGK. EFI Express recommends R5671A 8 or 9, which are also copper cores and are suspiciously cheap. But I'm not sure which heat range should I choose. And what's the change interval for copper ones?

I too have had a distaste for POR's... I do however love DTC's... I do change them every 3-6,000 miles though....they're cheap enough

NGK has alternative to FR5DTC's - BCPR7ET. Has anyone tried them?

And is there a big difference between single electrode and tri-electrode plugs?

You could probably replace them once a year (10k miles ish). I would pull one out for inspection about 5k miles to see how its fairing though, just to be on the safe side.

After some thought I bought a set of NGK BCPR7ET's, NGK's alternative to FR5DTC. After some investigation I found out that Bosch which we receive here is made in Russia and is complete *****.

Hope that it wont be a big fail in the end...

Are you running standard or non-standard boost?
